I was talking to my mum on the phone yesterday and said 'oh, a wait gooded pot specker has just landed in the tree in our front garden' and could not understand why she was in fits of laughter, when she was able to speak she said ' I presume you meant a great spotted woodpecker?' and I replied 'that's what I said' .................. er no!
